The original game launched last year to a middling reception. Space Hulk: Deathwing-Enhanced Edition, meanwhile, is currently aiming for a Q4 2017 release on PS4 and Xbox One. The developers at Streum On Studio have promised that more details on the new inclusions listed above, as well as additional unannounced features, will be available in the coming months. The first patch, which introduces a Special Mission for the first chapter, is available right now for PC owners. These missions generate a random series of challenges and spawn a Genestealer, one of the game’s most fearsome beasts.Īll of these new additions will also make their way to the PC release through a series of patches taking place in the lead-up to the Enhanced Edition’s launch. The real highlight, however, lies in the game’s co-operative multiplayer, which will receive a new class and a Special Mission for every chapter. The Space Hulk: Deathwing-Enhanced Edition will include a number of new features not seen in the original PC launch last year, including new enemies, weapons, and skills. Last year’s Warhammer 40K-based shooter Space Hulk: Deathwing is headed for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, featuring additional content, later this year.
